Peter J Sinnott IV

Peter J Sinnott IV brings a fresh approach to interior design. Graduating from Georgetown University in 1989 Peter joined his family’s fourth generation real estate and construction company where he served as a project manager on several high-rise residential towers in New York learning all facets of construction. However, it was the model apartments and lobbies that truly piqued Peter’s interest and resulted in his transition into the world of interior design. Peter joined Home Works in 2002 where he served as Senior Designer and Creative Director for 16 years. Over his 26 year long career Peter has designed for show houses, country clubs and countless private residences in eight states.

Peter’s approach to a project is all about the home owner and the family that lives there— not dictating his own personal style. As he reminds his clients on a daily basis: he has to love it, they have to adore it; and for many years to come! He shies away from anything too trendy yet is perfectly adept at imbuing a traditional space with modern overtures. The result is an interior that is highly personal to the client and straddles timeless classicism with a modern sensibility for today’s lifestyle.

Sarah Kennedy Dolce

It is a source of pride as well as a family anecdote that Sarah’s love of interior design was first honed when she was a young girl by constantly helping her grandmother move furniture around her Rye, New York home. Furniture runs in her blood: her family has been a part of the industry for over 30 years.

After graduating from Lehigh University, Sarah began her career going through the rigorous Buyer program at Saks Fifth Avenue. As an Assistant Buyer, she balanced six figure budgets on a weekly basis as well as overseeing the Men's Accessories departments for more than 50 national stores. Sarah then went on to work in the Visual and Marketing department of Carolee Designs, Inc. where she was part of the team responsible for corporate merchandising and branding as well as store displays and special events for 22 Carolee stores and over 700 national and international accounts.

After a brief "retirement" to raise her three young children, Sarah started her own design firm, Shea Dolce Interiors in 2011, jumping headfirst into a whole house construction project in Wyoming. Specializing in residential decor, she has also worked on commercial and academic interiors from Indiana to Rhode Island. In 2014, her cousin Peter asked her to come aboard the team at Home Works, the full-service firm in Port Chester of which he was the Principal. While at Home Works, they proudly and successfully launched their capsule collection of furniture for renowned American manufacturer, Chaddock. When Home Works shuttered its doors after 20 years in 2019, Sarah once again moved with Peter to work at his eponymous firm, Sinnott Design; after all family is everything.

Sarah considers her personal style to be "twisted traditional", loving a mix of classic and modern furnishings. She is most satisfied when a clients space reflects their own lives and loves, elegantly.
